Words cannot express what the world has lost with Kinga's death.
With great sadness, we received the news that she passed away on June 9, 2006  in Accra, Ghana, due to complications caused by cerebral malaria.
She was following her lifelong dream of going to Africa.
Chopin, her loving companion of many years and many adventures was by her side.
In spirit, their family, friends and every person who had encountered
them during years of travel was with them through prayers and support.
Even people she had never met showed a lot of support and concern for Kinga.

Writing these words feels like a bad dream
and referring to her in the past tense seems so wrong.
How can a person so full of passion and energy just leave us so quickly?

Kinga has moved on to a new journey, she is hitchhiking in the sky now.
She will communicate with us through
the millions of little things that spark memories of her.

As profoundly sad as we are to hear of her death,
We remember the bright light that she shined.
Kinga was so happy. So alive.
She trusted the universe and lived a huge and beautiful life.
She was loved by an enormous number of people.
Her journey touched many lives; she moved many hearts.
She was so peaceful and mesmerized by the beauty everything.

Kinga spoke often about dreams
and had an amazing capacity to make them come true.
She followed her passions around the world.

As she travels to heaven,
we imagine that she can look at the earth below her
with satisfaction that she saw it all.
And if every person on Earth that cares about Kinga was a point of light,
the entire planet would be lit up.

Family and friends.

Pick a dream and follow it.
Keep her memory in your travels. Trust as she trusted. Love as she loved.
